Excellent Pre-School
Our son has attended Umami since October 2020. Overall, he loves the school, the teachers, and the experience. He is learning andf being exposed to a variety of different materials and methods (math, literacy, home skills, etc.). In addition, the instruction in English and Russian, as well as Ukrainian, is very useful. We have seen improvements in his education/knowledge over the past several months.As parents, we have been very pleased with most aspects of the school. The teachers are caring, attentive, and have upgraded their skill sets and Montessori certifications over the past several months. The grounds of the school are very impressive, safe and well put together. There is ample space, high-quality materials, and outdoor play areas for the children. In addition, the in-school kitchen is fantastic and provides nutritious food to the children. In addition, communications from the school to parents are consistent and we receive an update message every day!
Our only concern was a high turnover of teachers in November/December. However, the school seems to have settled and the teachers/students/administration have gotten into a solid and stable routine.
Overall, we would definitely recommend Umami to preschool children and parents!
